Recorded in 2004, Still Paying is the sophomore album by Chicago's Hardest Working Rhyme Duo that never saw an official release. Plans to release in 2005 never manifested. After Olskool Ice-Gre teamed up to helped his good friend Kanye West get his rap career started and release Through The Wire (single and video) as well as complete The College Drop Out, he decided it was time to refocus on his group and Still Paying is the result. Potentially the 2nd most expensive independently constructed album of the time (The College Drop Out being #1), this release featured several of the most successful artists and producers of the moment. Olskool Ice-Gre remembers presenting the album to labels in effort to create distribution interest and most didn't believe the features and production was original work specific to the album Still Paying. The question was often asked "if all of these people got on this record, how come their not helping you get it out." Olskool Ice-Gre says those comments made it even more clear to him that major labels had no clue. Lack of marketing dollars and confused label execs help this album become another gem that got locked in the vault.
