Released in 2005, Chicago's Hardest Working Vol.2 (Project Soul) is the 2nd mixtape by the Windy City duo. Managing a variety of emotions caused by yet another financial setback for what potentially could have been their most impactful release to date; Still Paying, the group decided to use this mixtape to buy more time as well as write out their frustrations. The subtitle "Project Soul" is a double entendre relating to the music being soulful and the group literally coming from the soul in their delivery. The songs Nostalgia and These Raps were taken from Still Paying and featured on this mixtape in effort to share some of the collaborations they felt would never be heard.
